CAR & TRAILER (B+E)
Aims and Objectives:
The Driver will be assessed on all aspects relating to their vehicle daily checks, reversing, driving and hitching/unhitching of trailer. Corrective tuition and an assessment report will be provided with feedback following the assessment.
Course content:
~ Instruction in on road driving technique, reversing technique and hitching and unhitching of the trailer.
Course duration:
~ 1 day £240 - Ideal for a candidate who is experienced in reversing with a trailer and has some prior knowledge of hitching and unhitching techniques~ 2 day £440 - This course is ideal for someone who has driven with a trailer before and has some limited reversing experience.
~ Assessment only 3-4 hour sessions Two assessments can be conducted in one day 9.00am and 1.00pm.~ Course fee £160 per session Course conducted on customers premises and vehicle.
Why do the course?
Drivers who passed their test after January 1, 1997 and have a B category only on there licence will now be given a B+E entitlement allowing them to tow trailers up to 3500KG MAM. It is recommended by DVLA that drivers undertake training prior to driving a car and trailer on a road.
